ABOUT BTT MALTA
Our aim is to provide the highest level of BJJ
We promote health and fitness as well as other vital components of martial arts: self-confidence, respect and discipline. Here at BTT Malta, we emphasise philosophical principles to students such as self-discipline, integrity, respect, honesty and honour. We believe promotion to the higher belts needs to reflect a student’s character as well as their technical abilities.
We represent Brazilian Top Team in MALTA
BTT is one of the most traditional Brazilian Jiu Jitsu clubs in the world. It was established in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, by Murilo Bustamante, Ricardo Libório, Mário Sperry and Luis Roberto Duarte, former members of the Carlson Gracie Academy. Currently, BTT has more than 60 clubs around the world: braziliantopteam.net

Come and try the best sport you have ever considered
We do not have advanced and beginner classes separate, because that encourages growth and team spirit. You can come at any of the times above.
Wear something comfortable and flexible, most people wear shorts and a t-shirt until they have a Gi. Also, remember to bring a drink with you as BJJ can be thirsty work!
We sell all of the equipment you’ll need so if you’re unsure about anything, contact us before you attend your first class and we can help get you ready.
“Gi” is the name given to the traditional uniform worn in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ).
We hear this line a lot and the great news is BJJ will help you get fit very quickly. If you already have a basic level of fitness that’s great, but if you don’t we can help you get there. Come try BJJ in Malta!
Jiu Jitsu improves your balance, physical stability, your mood and helps to find a more disciplined lifestyle.
So, we believe you can start jiu jitsu at any age.
If you are just looking to get a bit fitter and more in tune with your body – 2-3 times is enough to get some great results! If your goal is to become a solid BJJ competitor, then 4-5 times – and even likely more to hit the elite level. It’s all about what you’re looking for from jiu jitsu.
